Leave the campsite and ride through Rosário in the direction of Alandroal. After about 13 kms (8 miles) you find yourself at the junction with the national road N373. Turn left and finish the climb towards Alandroal. At the gas station there is a bar with strong espresso coffee (Bica) or refreshing soft drinks and a (not always clean) bathroom. About 50 meters (55 yards) after the gas station you see a sign saying ‘Accesso local’. Turn right here. Continue straight (bad tarmac, new tarmac then cobbles stones) until you reach a small square. At the cross junction continue straight (just go the 200 meters/220 yards against the traffic). At the end of the street make a right turn. Continue straight and bare left at the fork. At the T junction go right in the direction of Vila Viçosa. Yet another climb, descent and climb until you reach the junction indicating "Pardais". Turn right here. Follow the road, first in between some football fields and then through a small residential area until a sign indicating you right to “Antas de Azeinha dos Apóstolos”, a megalithic monument from the 3rd-4th millennium B.C. From now on all your cluttering uphill will be rewarded by a slow descent over the next part of your tour. Leave the town and find the remaining houses scattered further apart all the time. Where you cross the municipal boundary you find a water tap next to the road. From here on it 2 more kms (1,2 miles) to the junction with the road N373. Here you turn left and after 200 meters (220 yards) turn right towards Mina de Bugalho. Continue until you see the sign sending you back to Rosário and the campsite just beyond.
